HOA Membership

Homeowner Associations (HOAs) are private, legally incorporated organizations that govern communities, collect dues, and set rules for residents. When you buy a home with Turner Homes, you also become a member of the HOA that manages your neighborhood. This means agreeing to its governing documents, such as articles of incorporation, bylaws, and CC&Rs (covenants, conditions, and restrictions).

The purpose of an HOA is to:

  • Serve as a governing body to oversee and manage the community
  • Create and enforce rules to maintain a cohesive atmosphere and visual appeal
  • Collect fees and payments for common area maintenance, amenities, and facility upkeep
  • Organize social events and neighborhood gatherings to foster a sense of community

Turner Homes contracts with third-party companies to manage HOA operations long-term. These companies welcome new residents, provide information and resources, and manage day-to-day homeowner needs. After the building period, they assist in electing an HOA board and establishing plans as management transitions to residents.
